Drive-Up Access on Every Unit
Every single unit at Legacy Self Storage is a drive-up unit. There are no hallways, no elevators, no carts. You pull up, open your door, and load or unload directly from your vehicle. That matters when you're dealing with heavy equipment, long trailers, or anything that can't be carried through a building.
12ft Wide, 14ft Tall Overhead Doors
This is where Legacy separates itself from most storage facilities in the area. A standard storage facility overhead door is typically 8 to 10 feet wide and 8 feet tall. That works fine for a moving truck. It does not work for a full-size fifth wheel, a large boat on a trailer, or a piece of commercial equipment with any real height to it. Our doors are 12 feet wide and 14 feet tall — built to accommodate the vehicles and equipment our customers actually own.
Interior Lighting in Every Unit
Every unit comes with interior lighting included. No fumbling around in the dark, no bringing your own work light, no limitations on when you can get things done inside your unit. Whether you're doing a quick grab-and-go or spending an afternoon organizing, the light is already there.
Electrical Outlet in Every Unit
This one surprises people. Most drive-up storage facilities are just four walls and a door. At Legacy, every unit includes a standard electrical outlet. That means you can charge batteries, run a power tool, keep a trickle charger going on a stored vehicle, or plug in whatever you need. It's a small detail that makes a big difference for contractors and vehicle owners especially.
75-Foot Drive Lanes
The space between our unit rows is 75 feet wide. That's not an accident — it's a design decision made specifically for our customers. If you've ever tried to back a 40-foot fifth wheel into a storage unit with 20 feet of clearance on either side, you know how stressful that is. Our 75-foot lanes give you room to breathe, room to adjust, and room to get it right without damaging your rig or someone else's.
24/7 Access
Your storage unit is available to you around the clock, every day of the year. Early morning before a job. Late night after a trip. Weekends, holidays, whenever. You get a personal access code. No calling ahead, no office hours, no waiting.
Security Cameras Throughout the Facility
Legacy Self Storage is monitored by security cameras covering the facility. Your equipment and vehicles are valuable — we take that seriously.
Honest Note: No Climate Control
We don't offer climate-controlled units, and we want to be upfront about that.
Climate control is designed for temperature-sensitive items — electronics, wood furniture, documents, artwork. If that's what you're storing, we'll be the first to tell you to find a facility that offers it.
But if you're storing a boat, an RV, a trailer, a work truck, or contractor equipment? Climate control isn't what you need. What you need is a big door, a wide lane, reliable access, and a secure facility. That's exactly what we built.
